We’re NOT your
ordinary English class!
The English class at First United
Methodist Church is different from any English class you've
ever had. Sure we teach English, but we also teach
survival in
America.
Class topics have included,
what to do if the car breaks
down,
how to talk
to the doctor when
you're sick, how to behave at an American dinner
party.
We talk about all those issues
you deal with when living in a foreign country. But, our
most important difference is that we become
friends.
We share a snack, then share
our lives and in the process build
relationships.
So if you're interested in improving your
English, while learning about America from Americans and
maybe making a new friend or two, join our class!
